Launched in 2004, the Oncology On CanvasSM program was conceived by Eli Lilly and Company as a way to honor the journey of those whose lives have been affected by cancer. The rich tapestry of emotions conveyed in these pieces of art endures and can provide hope and inspiration to others.

Lilly Oncology On Canvas is a biennial art competition open to those in the United States, Puerto Rico and Canada who have been affected by cancer. Prizes consist of contributions to the artist's cancer-related charity of choice, and much of the artwork is incorporated in a traveling exhibition.
